The 8th Mongolian Children’s Summer Sports Festival to Commence on May 26

Ulaanbaatar, May 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 8th Mongolian Children’s Summer Sports Festival, which is organized biennially, will commence on May 26, 2025. 


The Summer Sports Festival will feature competitions in freestyle wrestling, judo, archery, shooting, badminton, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics, checkers, table tennis, chess, 3x3 basketball, sambo, swimming, taekwondo, cycling, athletics, weightlifting, e-sports, mas-wrestling, mixed martial arts, duathlon, jiu-jitsu, dancing, football, weightlifting, and boxing.


Additionally, young athletes will also compete in para boccia, athletics, goalball, deaf 3x3 basketball, checkers, special athletics, and joint football.


The Opening Ceremony of the ten-day Summer Sports Festival will be held on May 26, 2025, at the Central Sports Palace, Ulaanbaatar. Young athletes who have qualified from the 21 aimags and the nine districts of the Capital City will compete in the event.
