Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to Mongolia Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, May 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On May 21, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Commonwealth of Australia to Mongolia Leo Zeng presented his Letter of Credence to President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa.

 

President Khurelsukh congratulated Ambassador Leo Zeng on his appointment and noted that Australia is Mongolia’s third neighbor and an important partner in the Indo-Pacific region. The Head of State underlined the importance of expanding relations and cooperation, normalizing the frequency of political dialogue, and cooperating in the economy, trade, and investment, and expressed confidence that the Ambassador would work actively and diligently.

 

Ambassador Leo Zeng expressed gratitude to President Khurelsukh and emphasized his goal of elevating relations and cooperation between the two countries, which have developed under the principle of the “Expanded Partnership” between Mongolia and Australia.


Mongolia and the Commonwealth of Australia established diplomatic relations on September 15, 1972.
