President of Mongolia Submits Proposal to Nominate Zandanshatar Gombojav as Prime Minister of Mongolia to Parliament

Ulaanbaatar, June 12, 2025 / MONTSAME/. Under Article 39, Section 2 of the Constitution of Mongolia, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa submitted the proposal to nominate Zandanshatar Gombojav as Prime Minister of Mongolia to the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia on June 10, 2025.

The 7th Conference of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) decided to nominate Zandanshatar Gombojav, a Member of the MPP Governing Board, for the position of Prime Minister of Mongolia. Accordingly Secretary General of the MPP Sodbaatar Yangug forwarded the nomination to President Khurelsukh.

According to the Office of the President of Mongolia, the State Great Khural will deliberate and decide on the appointment of the Prime Minister of Mongolia.
