NCZD takes lab equipment from Russia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Center for Zoonotic Diseases Mongolia (NCZD) received Monday 39 types of laboratory tools cost MNT 53 million from the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Scientific Research Institute, on October 30.
The tools were granted in scope of a 3-year program themed ‘Studying epicenters of marmot plague in Mongolia and Russia and reducing risks’ being co-implemented by the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Scientific Research Institute and the NCZD.
As having the laboratory tools, the NCZD has become able to diagnose zoonotic diseases on fields through molecular biological methods.
