Deputy Prime Minister meets state inspectors

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin underlined the importance of coordination between government agencies under Deputy Prime Minister’s authority during his meeting with staff of the General Specialized Inspection Agency on November 27.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that inspectors should advise and assist businesses rather than imposing fines and emphasized the significance of immediacy in dealing with requests, applications and complaints from the public.

“State inspectors must be educated, disciplined and virtuous individuals in order to enforce law and demand justice. Public health, safety of food, environment and labor condition depend on inspectors as the General Specialized Inspection Agency is a designated institution to ensure national security, ,” he said.



The inspectors brought forward issues such as maintaining the integrity of specialized inspection system, transferring the financial authority back to the Agency, revising certain laws, reconstructing the buildings of some of the provincial branches of the Agency and renovating equipment. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the issues will be looked into.
