H2 visa to be issued for Mongolians beginning from March

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In connection with revised list of countries that their citizens have right to enter in United States with H2 visa, approved by United States Department of State, Mr.Jason Spellberg, Head of Consular Section of U.S Embassy in Ulaanbaatar delivered information to journalists today.
At the beginning of his speech, Mr.Jason Spellberg pointed out that H2 visa is granted under high criterion and Mongolian citizens' eligibility to the visa was supported as U.S Embassy in Mongolia put request.

H2 visa gives chance to foreign citizens to officially work in the USA for short term and it has two categories: H-2A and H-2B. H-2A visa allows working in agricultural sector temporarily while H-2B belongs to other sectors. Moreover H-2B visa has quota but there is no limit for H2-A visa. It will be possible to apply for the visa beginning from March 1, he added.
There is no requirement of English knowledge and no gender restriction. The visa issued to Mongolians will be valid until January 17, 2019. Although visa is generally valid up to one year, it is highly depend on employer's need and request.
Furthermore Mr Jason Spellberg mentioned that visa holder may bring a spouse and children to the US and travel expences and salary amount are negotiable.
