Some aimags to receive grass aid from state fund

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cabinet resolved to take some measures to prevent from zud damage in aimags with high risks of zud.
In accordance with the Cabinet’s decision taken on January 19, 6,714 tons of grass will be distributed from state reserve fund free of charge to Arkhangai, Bayankhongor, Bulgan, Bayan-Ulgii, Gobi-Altai, Dundgobi, Zavkhan, Tuv, Khuvsgul, Khentii, Uvurkhangai, Umnugobi and Uvs aimags. Moreover, 5,200 tons of grass will be sold with 50 percent discount.
It has been reported that about 110 soums are facing difficulty in wintering on the national level.
