New technologies to be introduced for the public services provided by capital city

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ First meeting of the working group created according to Capital City Governor’s Order in connection with the state policy on information technology and capital city Governor's action plan was held yesterday.
During the meeting, the head of the Policy Coordination Department of the Communications and Information Technology Authority, consultant of the working group, B.Bilegdemberel introduced the ‘State policy on Information and Communication Development’ or e-governance.
“We have difficulties in digitizing public services due to paper-based information exchanges between the capital organizations and lack of service functions and standards of the capital city’s Local Administrative units. The working group is responsible for ensuring the foundation of the future e-government of the capital city”, said the deputy leader of working group, director of the Information and Technology Authority of Ulaanbaatar city, O.Chinzorig.
At the meeting the issue on creating sub-working groups to provide digitalization and access to public use of 55 services of selected 5 organizations of the capital city’s local administrative units was discussed and the directions were given to relevant organizations.
