Qualified doctors to be trained abroad

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A list of incurable diseases in Mongolia has been shortened by 7 types of diseases out of total 39 in 2017.
To cut the list more further providing people with conditions receive good quality of diagnosis and treatment and reducing number of patients to go to foreign countries for treatment, the Ministry of Health plans to train qualified doctors’ teams in Japan, Korea, Russia, the United States of America and India this year too.
This time 8 specialists from the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, the State Central Third Hospital, the Pediatric Nursing Center and the National Center for Mental Health will be sent to Japan, Korea and Russia for one to three months period, for training in laser therapy for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome during twin pregnancy, corneal transplant surgery, child’s neurologic disorder, paralysis therapy and diagnosis and treatment for addiction.
