Award ceremony held at Mongolian Embassy

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ According to the decree of Mongolian President, V.A. Petrenko, Director of the Department of State Policy for Railway Transport at the Ministry of Transport of Russian Federation, and M.S. Timofeeva, Senior Specialist-Expert of Division of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry, were awarded with ‘Friendship’ medal.
On April 3, Mongolia’s Ambassador to Russia B.Delgermaa presented the 'Friendship' medal to V.A. Petrenko and M.S.Timofeeva in the ‘Hall of Chinggis Khaan’ at the Embassy of Mongolia in Moscow.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador B.Delgermaa said, “We are very satisfied with intensifying development of bilateral cooperation in transport sector. For instance, during the 13th meeting of Mongolia-Russia working group on transport held last August in Moscow, the sides endorsed a draft of the intergovernmental agreement on conditions of transit-transportation through railway, and it is ready to sign. Mongolian side considers it possible to sign the document during Mongolia’s Prime Minister’s impending visit to Russia and attendance in St.Petersburg International Economic Forum this May. We hope that bilateral traditional and friendly relations between our two countries will expand more thanks to diligent efforts of you.”
