美国摄影师弗雷德里克·拉格朗17年间在蒙古国旅游13次。期间，他拍摄了很多关于蒙古国的精彩图片。
据介绍，弗雷德里克·拉格朗小时候从他爷爷那里首次了解到蒙古国。他爷爷讲述，自己在法国军队服役时参与了世界第二次大战，但不幸被俘虏。1944年，蒙古国军队在苏联指导下从纳粹手中救出俘虏兵。之后，弗雷德里克·拉格朗开始他蒙古国探索之旅。
2001年，从事摄影工作的他请假一个月首次来到蒙古国，拍摄了很多人物与大自然的精彩照片。弗雷德里克·拉格朗说，蒙古国的安宁和寂静吸引了我，就像修行一样。与美国相比，这种感受在蒙古国更深。据悉，他计划在11月发行自己在蒙古国旅行17年期间所拍摄的各类图片综合书。
