Consul General of Mongolia presents exequatur to Governor of Irkutsk

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Consul General to Irkutsk,
Russia J. Enkhjargal presented his exequatur to Governor of Irkutsk I.I. Kobzev
on December 21.
After the presentation, the Governor welcomed I.I. Kobzev
for a meeting.
During the meeting, Mr. Kobzev expressed his full support to
deepen Mongolia – Irkutsk relations and cooperation and said he plans to pay an
official visit to Mongolia as the pandemic situation improves. He added that with
the visit, it plans to start joint works of the next five years to promote
friendship between the two countries in all fields, especially trade, mutually
beneficial economic cooperation, tourism and activities for people.
Consul General J.Enkhjargal thanked for the audience during
the pandemic and for the opportunity to hand over the exequatur and emphasized
that the bilateral friendly relations have expanded to a new level of relations
and cooperation.
Mr. Enkhjargal said he is committed to working to elevate bilateral
cooperation to a new level, particularly activating trade and economic
relations and intensifying cooperation in tourism, and shared views on possible
activities to be implemented jointly in the near future.
At the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on measures
to be jointly organized in 2021 to mark the 100th anniversary of the
diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Russia and the 50th
anniversary of the Consulate General of Mongolia in Russia.
