Foreign Minister Battsetseg Meets Ambassador of Tajikistan to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Ulaanbaatar, November 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh held talks with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Mongolia, H.E. Khairullo Ibodzoda, resident in Kazakhstan, on November 25, 2025.
Minister Battsetseg reaffirmed Mongolia’s commitment to advancing cooperation with Central Asian partners, including Tajikistan. She welcomed the steady political dialogue of recent years, noting its contribution to more substantive bilateral relations. The Minister highlighted opportunities to expand collaboration in agriculture, light industry, and renewable energy, and voiced support for advancing joint projects and programs in these areas.
Ambassador Khairullo Idobzoda emphasized his commitment to further deepening friendly relations and strengthening economic engagement between the two countries. He underlined the importance of convening the inaugural session of the Mongolia-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission as a key step toward broadening cooperation.
