Mongolia and Chile Discuss Active Cooperation in Trade, Education

/MONTSAME/. During the General Debate of the 80th Session of the United
Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia
Battsetseg Batmunkh met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Chile, Alberto van Klaveren, on September 22, 2025.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged
views on advancing bilateral cooperation in the trade and education sectors,
noting the progress in mining and business cooperation in recent years.
Minister Battsetseg emphasized that Mongolia attaches great significance to the
relations established with Latin American countries, specifically Chile, and is
committed to close cooperation with Chile in all mutually beneficial fields.
Minister Alberto van Klaveren expressed readiness to develop the bilateral relations and satisfaction that the two countries have been advancing cooperation as countries with feminist foreign relations policies.
