Parliament accepts President’s veto over amnesty law
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At irregular plenary meeting on Tuesday, the parliamentary session discussed a partial veto of the President over the law on amnesty and backed it by a majority.
Out of 59 MPs present 48, or 81.1%, supported the veto over the law’s clause of 4.1. Moreover, the MPs backed accepting the veto over the law’s 7th clause.
Now that the veto has been accepted those will not enjoy the amnesty who have been accused of corruption, illegal occupying of positions, financial crimes and swindling.
