Speaker meets Ambassador of Russia
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold Friday received I.K.Azizov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia.
The Speaker noted that the two countries had held the 19th meeting of the intergovernmental commission in Chita of Russia to discuss the trade and economic cooperation.
The Ambassador thanked the Speaker for the audience and also mentioned about the intergovernmental commission meeting. He expressed a gratitude to the Speaker for paying a great deal of attention to this meeting, which had issued a protocol concluding implementation of decisions made at the previous meeting.
He gave the Speaker a statement of the Federation Council of Russia addressing parliaments of foreign countries and the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) about a necessity of uniting force to combat terrorism.
After this the parties exchanged views on the Mongolia-Russia relations, political and economic matters.
Present at the meeting were N.Enkhbold MP and others.
