Premier receives Ambassadors
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The government of Mongolia is working under fundamental goals such as to enhance friendly relations with countries, to develop mutually-beneficial economic ties, to actively participate in the regional cooperation, and to strengthen a prestige Mongolia at the international arena.
The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg said it during a meeting with Ambassadors and Non-Resident Ambassadors of the European Union’s (EU) countries to Mongolia on Tuesday. He emphasized that boosting the relations and cooperation with EU countries within the Third Neighborhood policy is one of the core principles of the Mongolian foreign policy.
The Premier expressed a gratitude to EU countries for supporting the Mongolian democracy and rendering it financial and technical assistance in times of economic transmission period, for developing the cooperation.
The EU has invested USD 2.15 billion to Mongolia since 1990, and has been implementing several projects and programmes on empowering small- and middle-sized entities (SME), on good-governance for ensuring the economic growth, on vocational training and education, the Premier noted.
He also talked about a current economic situation, foreign relations and cooperation of Mongolia.
