Ambassador T.Lhagvadorj becomes ASEF governor
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Singapore T.Lhagvadorj has been appointed the member of the Board of Governors of the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF).
An official letter of Mongolia’s Foreign Minister on the appointment has been sent to Zhang Yan, the ASEF Executive Director. The latter has received the Mongolian Ambassador and congratulated him on being appointed as such. Mr Lkhagvadorj has thanked the ASEF Executive Director for the audience. Mongolia as well as him are to perform many works in order to enhance a role in the ASEF operations, he has said. Mongolia wants to host 33rd meeting of the ASEF Board of Governors as well as the Youths’ Forum during the ASEM Summit, which will run next year in Ulaanbaatar, he has said.
After this, the sides have shared views on further cooperation between Mongolia and the ASEF.
