Mongolia to host World University Archery Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has issued a list of university world championships to be organized in 24 countries next year.

Accordingly, the 2016 World University Archery Championship will take place in Ulaanbaatar on June 1-5. Meanwhile, the University Sports Federation of Mongolia has approved a list of 12 competitions to be attended by the Mongolian students.

Apart from the archery championship, the Mongolian university team will compete in the 2016 university world championships of ski-orienteering in Russia, boxing (Thailand), golf (France), chess (UAE), freestyle wrestling (Turkey), cycling (the Philippines), woodball (Chinese Taipei), shooting (Poland), sambo wrestling (Cyprus), weightlifting (Mexico) and 3x3 basketball (China).

Other competitions will run in sports of American football (Mexico), badminton (Russia), baseball (USA), beach volleyball (Estonia), bridge (Poland), canoe sprint (Mexico), cross-country (Italy), equestrian (Sweden), floorball (Portugal), futsal (Brazil), handball (Spain), karate (Portugal), netball (USA), rowing (Poland), rugby sevens (UK), match racing (Australia), speed skating (Italy), sport climbing (China), squash (Malaysia), and triathlon (Switzerland).
