MP receives Australian senator

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ N.Enkhbold MP, the head of Mongolia-Australia caucus in the State Great Khural (Parliament), received Mr Gavin Marshall, a member and the deputy president of the Australian Senate, on Thursday.

Mr N.Enkhbold wished the guests pleasant stay in Mongolia and expressed gratitude for attending the Ninth Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting.

The sides stated that the bilateral cooperation has been prospering in educational sphere among many successful areas of cooperation between the two countries. As a result of the Australian government scholarships, many Mongolian nationals have been receiving higher education in Australia, and most of the graduates are working in public and non-governmental organizations of Mongolia successfully. Mongolians are given a possibility to live with their families while studying there, which fact provides greater chance for the upgrading of Australia-Mongolia friendship community, the sides noted.
