Hotel industry in first quarter
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Revenue of 262 hotels involved in the survey by first quarter of 2016 reached MNT 19.5 billion, which declined by MNT 307.4 million or 1.6% against the previous year.
Average income per one hotel room reached MNT 3.2 million in the first quarter of 2016, indicating a decrease of MNT 305.7 thousand or 8.7% against the same period of the previous year.
In the period, each hotel served for approximately 352 guests who stayed there for about 1.1 days. Approximate revenue of hotels per guest reached MNT 210.9 thousand which increased by MNT 4.6 thousand or 2.2% against the previous year.
