Ambassador B.Batkhishig meets with Uzbek Minister of Education

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Non-Resident Ambassador of Mongolia to Uzbekistan B.Batkhishig met Monday with the Uzbek Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education, in Tashkent.

They have exchanged views on the Mongolia-Uzbekistan relations in education, culture and scientific spheres.

Noting that some 2,000 Mongolians were educated in Uzbekistan until 1990, the Ambassador put forward a proposal to train Mongolian students in universities and vocational institutes, and involving Mongolians in mid-career and degree courses with scholarships. He also touched upon issues of developing cooperation between scientific organizations and conducting joint research on history and culture.
