Election sub-commissions established in 32 countries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Election Commission in charge of organizing voting of the Presidential Election 2017 in foreign countries where Mongolian diplomatic missions are located, providing general guidelines and overseeing held a meeting on April 19.
At the meeting, sub-commissions responsible for organization of voting abroad were established. According to the Law on Elections, sub-commissions shall be established at the diplomatic missions of Mongolia within 40 days prior to the voting day. Each sub-commission would be composed of 3-7 members, including chief-organizer and organizer.
At the meeting, a total of 45 sub-commissions in 32 countries, including Australia, UK, USA, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea and China were established. Voters residing abroad will cast their vote on June 10-11.
