Ambassador G.Battungalag presents her diplomatic credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 10, G.Battungalag, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Austria presented her diplomatic credentials to Alexander Van der Bellen, President of the Republic Austria. 

Following the ceremony of presenting credentials, President Alexander Van der Bellen received Ambassador G.Battungalag to talk about bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. Then, the sides expressed their satisfaction with the actively developing political relations of Mongolia and Austria. After mentioning her aim to strengthen and enrich the bilateral relations in the fields of economy, investment, agriculture, education, renewable energy and tourism, the Mongolian Ambassador confirmed the invitation of for the Austrian President to visit Mongolia.
 
In turn, President Alexander Van der Bellen expressed his opinion that Mongolia and Austria have broad possibilities to intensify relations between the two countries.

The sides pointed out the importance of the establishment of direct partnership among private sector and entrepreneurs with a view to promote economic cooperation and agreed to carry out measures in this regard. 

Mongolia and Austria established diplomatic relations in 1963 and the President of Mongolia paid an official visit to Austria in 2014.
