MPRP nominates former Member of Parliament S.Ganbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following the rejection of its presidential nominee N.Enkhbayar by General Election Commission, Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP) held its conference yesterday, May 16, as a result of which the party has a new nominee for the upcoming Presidential Election.
 
The executive bureau of the party met before the conference to officially propose the names of Ts.Sharavdorj, S.Ganbaatar, Ts.Oyunbaatar and D.Enkhjargal to the 180 participants of the conference.
 
According to the party’s spokesperson, former Member of Parliament S.Ganbaatar won 65 percent of vote in the secret polling, thus becoming the presidential nominee of MPRP.
 
The General Election Commission is expected to make a public and final announcement on the presidential candidates on May 17, today.
