Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian students of “Shine Erin’ school won the "Best Creativity Award" in the 7th "E-Icon" World contest, held on August 17-23 in Busan, South Korea.

11th grade students E.Dolgoon and B.Oyunbaatar together with teacher E.Iderjargal were granted the award for their mobile content “Digital Ubiquity School”.

The contest was organized by Korean Ministry of Education and Institute of APEC Collaborative Education, where 160 students from 14 countries across the globe competed in 38 teams with their mobile contents.
The contest aimed to develop international educational e-learning contents usable for international education community and cooperation for global e-learning leaders.

Two students and one teacher from each country participated in the contest with one matching Korean team and collaborated to develop their content. From May of this year, teachers and students made the contest preparation at home country, starting collaboration with the Korean team and choosing topics and making solutions of the content. During the three days of the actual Contest, two teams worked together to complete the content.

The success of the students of Mongolia, participating in the contest for the first time has shown the competitiveness of Mongolian students in content development.
