Ts.Munkh-Orgil meets counterparts of some countries

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Taking part in the 72nd Regular Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Ts.Munkh-Orgil met his counterparts of some countries on September 18.
At the meeting with Linkevicius, the sides emphasized the importance of developing the Mongolia-Lithuania cooperation in the economic and business spheres, and noted there is wide opportunity to expand the cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food security, renewable electricity, information and communication technology, education, veterinary and other sectors. After having the meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed agreements on Economic Cooperation and on Exemption of Visa Requirements for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders.
Ts.Munkh-Orgil and his Romanian counterpart Teodor Melescanu concurred to diversify the economy of both countries, to maximize the trade turnover and investments, to enhance the bilateral cooperation in the sectors of agriculture, animal husbandry, culture and education. The parties also agreed to cooperate in sharing experience and preparing experts in the veterinary service.

During the meeting with the UAE Minister of State Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE side expressed the willingness to boost the relations and cooperation in all sectors, especially to widen the commercial and economic sectors.
In turn, Ts.Munkh-Orgil said Mongolia wants to take part in the EXPO 2020 to be organized in the UAE, and then noted the importance of expanding the cooperation in economy.
