Deputy Minister of Justice and Home Affairs meets OSCE Special Representative

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Justice and Home Affairs B.Enkhbayar received Madina Jarbussynova, Special Representative and Co-ordinator to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings at the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE), on October 4.
The Deputy Minister noted that the Mongolian Government is paying attention to combating crimes, for instance, a Regulatory Council for Prevention of Crimes has been established at the Minister of Justice and Home Affairs. He added that the Ministry formulated bills on crime, on conflicts and combating family violation, and adopted them by the Parliament. National programs on fighting the crimes of human trafficking and usage of drugs were approved, he continued.
In response, Madina Jarbussynova expressed her satisfaction with visiting Mongolia, and then said she took information from officials about a current state of combating human trafficking and crimes related to drugs in Mongolia, and met representatives of some NGOs.
