Training on solid waste management being organized

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With an aim to support solving Ulaanbaatar city waste, a training themed “Solid waste management” is taking place on November 21 and 25 in the National Academy of Governance (NAG).

The training is being organized in a framework of the cooperation among the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar City, Sukhbaatar District and Istanbul Governor’s Office.

Specialists and engineers in charge of waste management at the Istanbul Governor’s Office are introducing Istanbul City policy on waste management, sharing their experiences and providing information on global trends of  waste management and technology development.

A total of 55 participants of the training are from the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, the Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar City, Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar City, administration of Ulaanbaatar city districts,  the State Central Hospital and NGOs.

Ahmet Yazal, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia, Phd D.Tsedev, the NAG Deputy Director, Veysel Ciftci, the TIKA Ulaanbaatar Program Coordinator delivered speeches in the opening  of the training. 

The participants will receive a certificate at the end of the training.
