Gold purchase reaches 19.1 tons

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/  As of  late November, Bank of Mongolia (BoM) bought 19.1 tons of gold from people and entities.

The gold purchase increased by 1.5 tons or 8 per cent compared to the same period of last year.

The BoM is taking measures to increase gold purchases. Actions including two-month  campaign ‘Mongolian Gold’ and purchasing gold at international price from December, 2016 influenced on the increase of gold purchase.
