Consultative meeting on eastern railway to be held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Railways state-owned company will organize an international consultative meeting themed ‘The eastern railway corridor – Development of the region and the mining’ on January 22-23.
The aim of the meeting is to improve financial assessment of feasibility study on eastern railway corridor en route Khuugt –Bichigt to conduct concrete estimation on rail freight transportation in the frame of the Program to Establish Economic Corridor between Mongolia, Russia and China.

The consultative meeting will gather relevant Ministries, entities and companies that hold mining and exploration licenses in Dornod and Sukhbaatar provinces and delegations from the Russian Federation and People’s Republic of China.
