Enhancing public legal education program to be implemented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on February 14, the cabinet adopted National Program on Improving Public Legal Education. Within the framework of the national program, 105 actions will be carried out for building and strengthening perpetual system of upgrading public legal education until 2023. Providing legal information, promotion, training, assistance and study is the key method of improving public legal knowledge, the cabinet envisioned.
The program reflects developing two staged legal assistance services and providing primary consultations and services by not only lawyers, but also through legal guides and clinic training centers. Required budget for the program will be funded from government and local budgets, aids and loans from international organizations, donation, financing from NGOs, entities and citizens.
The program is charted to form legal education system and build integrated network of information, training, promotion, human resources and facilities. It will provide conditions for enduring development of individuals' legal education and bringing tangible outcomes in implementing laws related to protecting and ensuring human rights in the future.
