‘Chinggis Khaan’ animation to be screened

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under the auspices of President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga, ‘Chinggis Khaan’ animation was created by the Ocean Pictures.
Based on ‘The Secret History of the Mongols’, the animation is the first to combine 2D and 3D imaging in over 80 year’s history of Mongolian cinematography. Moreover, soundtrack consists of Mongolian songs under accompaniment of traditional musical instruments such as horse-head fiddle, zither and throat song.
Many foreign and domestic animation specialists collaborated in creation of the animation which met format quality of Walt Disney company.
The animation will be premiered on March 31.
