Australian Ambassador works in Khuvsgul province

Khuvsgul /MONTSAME/ Chairman of the Citizen’s Representative Meeting of Khuvsgul aimag L.Tumurbaatar received officials led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Mongolia John Langtry on March 30.
At the meeting, Ambassador John Langtry informed that it is possible to annually fund micro projects through ReSurge International, formerly known as Interplast, which is the first international humanitarian organization to provide free reconstructive surgery in developing countries, primarily to children with cleft lip and palate and burn scar contractures.
Ambassador emphasized that Australian side has forwarded a proposal to establish memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Health of Mongolian and Interplast International Organization to support cooperation in the field of reconstructive surgery.
In his turn, L.Tumurbaatar expressed his gratitude towards the Australian side for cooperating with Khuvsgul aimag in burn reconstruction care and service since 2017 and willingness to develop stable cooperation, expanding it.
