3333 children read ‘Independence’ poem on the central square

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Every first weekend of April students of secondary school gather to read the ‘Independence’ poem by Hero of Labor of Mongolia, People’s Writer D.Purevdorj, expressing the concept of patriotism and sovereignty.
This year on April 7, 3333 students of the school read the poem, forming Mongolia’s map on Sukhbaatar square.
President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga attended the event and read the poetry along with the children. He expressed his gratitude to the ‘Oyunii Undraa’ school teachers for the initiation and the invitation.

After his speech President Kh.Battulga handed over a moving trophy to the school number 92. The moving trophy dedicated to ‘Independence’ poem is a four-sided copper cup with a base on which Mongolia’s map and words ‘Independence’ and number ‘3333’ engraved.
The trophy will be passed through 1000 schools of 9 districts and 21 aimags.
