Mongol Bank purchases 2182 kg of gold in June

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Bank of Mongolia (BoM) bought 2,182 kgs of gold in June, which was 356 kg increase compared to the same period of the previous year. In specific, the BoM purchased 1,826 kg of gold in June, 2017.
Moreover, officials noted that 7.1 tons of gold was purchased as of the first half of 2018, showing 430 kg or 6 percent growth compared to the same period of 2017.
The bank’s average gold purchase rate is MNT100.041 per gramm.
