NEMA rescues 40 People Nationwide Last Week

Ulaanbaatar, August 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A total of 77 emergency calls were recorded nationwide last week, according to the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
Emergency personnel from the capital city, Ulaanbaatar, and provincial areas responded to these calls, providing assistance and rescuing 40 people in the process.
Of the total cases, 38 were related to natural incidents, and nine were related to man-made causes. According to NEMA, the agency also responded to an earthquake, a forest and field fire, strong wind, and 27 flood incidents.
