Korean Book Section opens in Ulaanbaatar city Public Library

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Cultural and Arts Department of the capital city and the administration of South Korea’s Namyangju city opened a section of Korean Books in Ulaanbaatar city Public Library on August 4. 

500 children's story books were donated by Rainbow Harmony Working Group, a community of citizens of Namyangju city for expanding friendly relationship of the two cities.



The event, initiated by the Cultural and Arts Department took place in the framework of the book swapping event, which has been held since January, 2017 and an information on Korean culture was provided to the visitors who came to the library to swap their books. 

Ulaanbaatar city Public Library introduced the library’s activities to the guests from Namyangju city  and exchanged views on opportunities of further cooperation.
