Mining Minister receives delegates from British Columbia province

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 27, Minister of Mining and Heavy industry D.Sumiyabazar met with Andrew Rollo, Executive Director of Major Mine Permitting Office at British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources and Katherine Parsons, Regional Director of the Ministry. Other officials including David Sproule, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Mongolia attended the meeting.


Minister D.Sumiyabazar expressed gratitude to the delegates for conducting a training on special licensing in mining sector, legal framework, institutional structure, coordination, and its practices and exchanged views on further cooperation.


Ambassador David Sproule emphasized the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry of Mongolia has made significant contribution to organize the training.
