Delegates of Asia Pacific Telecommunity convening in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 42nd
Session of the Management Committee of the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) is
being held in Ulaanbaatar on October 9-12. Over 100 high-ranking officials of public and
private organizations in ICT sector of APT member countries are taking part in
the event.
The session aims to overview the organization’s
operational and financial performance in 2018 and to approve a strategic plan for
the year of 2019-2020. Moreover, reports of APT preparatory groups for Plenipotentiary
Conference of the International Telecommunication Union and World
Radiocommunication Conference will be discussed along with a number of
important matters including preparation for the Asia-Pacific ICT Ministerial
Meeting in 2019 and the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the APT. The delegates also make decision on the date and place of the 43rd Session of the Management Committee of the APT.
