Foreign Minister meets Chinese delegation

On November 13, Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar met Chinese delegation
headed by Xue Jian, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs
of the Foreign Ministry, who took part in the consultative meeting between the
Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and China, and exchanged views on
bilateral cooperation.
At the
meeting, Mr. Xue Jian conveyed greetings of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi
and introduced a plan of actions for marking 70th anniversary of
diplomatic relations between two countries. He also informed that Chinese side
is working to realize issues agreed by two countries during the visit of Minister
Wang Yi and accelerate implementation of certain projects.
Foreign
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar supported the plan on the joint celebration of 70th
anniversary of diplomatic relations and welcomed initiative works for
forwarding certain projects of economic cooperation within the frames of
strengthening comprehensive strategic partnership between two countries.
Moreover,
Minister Tsogtbaatar underlined an importance of increasing the volume of
Mongolia’s export goods and building favorable condition for transportation in
order to fulfill an objective to bring bilateral trade turnover into USD10
billion by 2020.
In turn, Chinese side expressed its commitment to pay attention on the issues.
