G.Zandanbal and B.Enkhkhuslen break national swimming record
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 14th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) kicked off in Hangzhou, China today on December 11.
Athletes of 60 countries are participating in the solo and relay events. A team of 4 athletes, led by IM G.Zandanbal and B.Enkhkhuslen are representing Mongolia in the world championship.
In the men’s 100m breaststroke, IM G.Zandanbal made a new national record with 1:02.93, while in the women’s 200m freestyle, IM B.Enkhkhuslen also made a new record with 2:04.84, coming up 37th out of the total 56 countries.
The championship is to end on December 18.
