Minister of Foreign Affairs meets his Qatar counterpart

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, who is on visit to Qatar, held bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on December 16.
During the meeting, the sides shared opinions on regional and bilateral relations and cooperation. They spoke about establishing documentations such as an Agreement on Exemption of Visa Requirements for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders and Memorandum of Understanding on Organizing Consultative Meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Qatar. Moreover, the Deputy PM and Foreign Minister of Qatar Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani was officially invited to visit Mongolia at his convenience.
As part of the visit, Minister D.Tsogtbaatar also met with President of Qatar Olympic Committee Shiekh Joaan Bin Hamad Al-Thani, exchanging views on opportunities to develop cooperation in sports field. In particular, the sides touched upon collaboration in ensuring preparations of Children of Asia Games 2020 to be hosted in Mongolia and employing coaches of some types of sports in Qatar, that are developed in Mongolia.

that the country is focusing attention on developing judo. Furthermore, Sheikh
Joaan Bin Hamad Al-Thani briefed about preparation works of the Qatar 2022 FIFA
World Cup.
