Mongolia to be represented in WorldSkills Competition with eight competitors

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Eight Mongolian youths will represent Mongolia in the 45th WorldSkills Competition, which will take place in Kazan, Russian Federation on August 22-27. This will be the third time that the Mongolian team participating in the competition.

 

As expected, more than 1,600 young professionals from 60 countries and regions will compete in 56 skill events this year. 

 

Mongolia participated in the biannual competition in 2015 for the first time. Afterwards, Mongolian youths competed in the 44th WorldSkills Competition, organized in the United Arab Emirates in six skill events including carpentry, bricklaying, welding, electrical installation, plumbing and heating, and cooking.

 

The colleges that successfully participate in the competition include the Construction Polytechnic College, the College of Engineering and Technology, the Food Technology College, and Khugjil Polytechnic College in Khovd aimag.
