Polar Star Order conferred upon Consul and Counsellor of the Czech Embassy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin
Battulga issued a decree on awarding Václav Dobeš, Consul and Counsellor of the
Embassy of the Czech Republic in Mongolia, with the high state decoration of
Mongolia—Polar Star Order.

G.Baigalmaa presented the award at the State Palace on February 25.
The Polar Star Order was conferred upon Mr. Dobeš, citizen of
the Czech Republic, in recognition of his invaluable contribution to bilateral
cooperation in sports, particularly the development of judo. Over the years,
Mr. Dobeš has continuously supported Mongolian athletes by facilitating
opportunities to hold joint trainings and helping them participate in international
competitions that are held in the Czech Republic.
