Orkhon aimag to cooperate with South Korean city in healthcare

Orkhon /MONTSAME/ Deputy Governor of Orkhon aimag S.Batjargal signed a
Memorandum of Cooperation with Cha Soon-do, President of the Medicity Daegu Council
in Daegu, South Korea, which is considered having the most developed
healthcare system in the country.
Under the memorandum, the two sides will work together for providing the
aimag’s health professionals with capacity building courses and training in Daegu
as well as in the fields of healthcare technology and medical tourism.
Mr. Cha Soon-do informed that the council established a cooperation
agreement with the Erdenet state-owned enterprise last year while expressing pleasure at the upcoming collaboration in medical tourism development. The memorandum
will be in effect until November, 2020.
