MAS President meets Chinese neuroscientists

/MONTSAME/ President of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) D.Regdel on
April 22 met with Chinese neuroscientists led by Mu-ming Poo, founding Director
of the Institute of Neuroscience, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Head of
the CAS Center for Excellence in Brain Science and Intelligence Technology (CEBSIT).
In the
meeting, Mr. Mu-ming Poo gave information about the neuroscience institute and
CEBSIT, and voiced his willingness to cooperate through the center for
excellence. In turn, MAS President D.Regdel expressed his pleasure at receiving
a visit from prestigious academicians of China and hope for further
expansion of cooperation between MAS and CAS.
Founded by
CAS as one of the first
four centers for excellence in 2014, CEBSIT aims to consolidate existing
research strength of CAS laboratories by forming collaborative research teams.
These teams will address major frontier questions in brain science as well as
in intelligence technology that involves brain-inspired computing methods and
devices.
