N.Naran-Erdene wins silver in World School Chess Championship

Sukhbaatar/MONTSAME/. N.Naran-Erdene, 11th grader of the general educational school in Sukhbaatar aimag, won a silver medal at the World School Chess Championship, qualifying for the FIDE Candidate Master title.

Moreover, chess players E.Enkh-Od and N.Sod-Erdene took 6th and 16th places respectively. With the team scores, the Mongolian children finished the competition in first place.

Around 400 from 33 countries faced off at the chess championship which took place in Antalya, Turkey on April 17-27.
