Greater Tumen Initiative specialists meetEconomy
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 3rd meeting of Greater Tumen Initiative (GTI) specialists in Mongolia organized by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) was held on May 3.
At the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry reported on the outcomes of the 4th GTI Agriculture Committee meeting and introduced the project ‘Facilitation of Agricultural Products in the Greater Tumen Region’.
Customs General Administration reported on the development of the ‘Creating opportunity for SMEs through customs clearance procedures for inward and outward processing’ to be presented at the Customs Sub-Committee meeting. Governor’s Office of Khentii aimag reported on the preparation of the 7th Local Cooperation meeting to be held in July, 2019. The meeting was fruitful with the parties mutually exchanging views.
GIZ and the GTI representatives discussed project on handbook for GTI specialists in Mongolia and agreed to provide the public with information about the initiative.
