Photo exhibition of 24 countries’ children running in Mongolia
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. An exhibition of represented works of children from 24 countries that were selected at the Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki Festa competition opened yesterday at Ord Art Gallery.
The exhibition displays
about 120 works of children aged 6 and 11 from 24 nations. A painting of
E.Khulan, 2nd grader of a school in Gobisumber aimag, represents
Mongolia in the exhibition.
It aims to promote cultural
exchange and support for literacy education of children of different nations by
means of Enikki (illustrated diaries).
Since 1993, Mongolian
children have been actively participating in Mitsubishi Asian Children’s Enikki
Festa competition, which is biennially organized among countries in Asia and
the Pacific.
The exhibition will be open at
Ord Art Gallery until May 13 and will be displayed at Children’s Palace and
Mongeni Complex school afterward.
